# Event widgets overview

> Broadcast has the concept of widgets to help easily add events to your own website with just a few lines of code.

## Before you start

To get started please first **email [support@broadcast.events](mailto:support@broadcast.events) to request widget access** for your venue.

### What you'll need

* A Broadcast account filled up with all your events.
* Access to your websites CMS or admin backend.
* The ability to add custom CSS and Javascript files.

## Supported platforms

Our widgets should work on platforms that allow custom code injection for CSS and JavaScript.

We currently provide setup guides for:

* Standard HTML
* Squarespace
* WordPress
* Wix

## Choose an installation path

* [Standard HTML](/widgets/standardHtml): Best if you control your own templates or pages.
* [Squarespace](/widgets/squarespace): Use this if your site runs on Squarespace.
* [WordPress](/widgets/wordpress): Use this if your site runs on WordPress.
* [Wix](/widgets/wix): Use this if your site runs on Wix.
